Ceramics in Slip Trailing by Joy Anne Hendricksen
The designs done by Joy are taken from photographs, that she draws out on the greenware and painstaking layers liquid clay three times over each line of the design, in the process of what is known as SLIP TRAILING. Then Joy uses a variety of underglazes to achieve the colors she wants for her patterns and a food safe over glaze for a durable finish.
